Prototype Development

Prototype Development Services
Your design isn’t going anywhere without some validation, some market buy-in, maybe even some investment cash to get production ramped up. Tooling is way too expensive to put precious capital into until you know the design is right. You need a prototype, and you need it now. Badger Prototype is your single-source solution to deliver a complete finished prototype. We handle all of the processes, materials, and inevitable unforeseen challenges with our team of product designers on staff to get engaged when you need to keep things moving.
3D printing builds complex parts without expensive tooling. We offer a variety of plastics, carbon fiber composites, flexible rubber parts and even metals.
Our multiple in house CNC machining centers give us the capacity to fill your next custom machine order quickly and efficiently.
Our plastics prototyping processes have been refined over decades to create parts with thermoforming, injection molding, or RTV silicone molding.
Our product designers are experts at validating critical functional elements and testing for feasibility or failure – a crucial step in the development of a successful product.
Want it to look good too? Whether just for show or for needed validation, we can provide custom graphics, wet-coat painting, powder-coating, heat treating, and plating.
Stamping, bending, welding, and cutting parts up to 8″ thickness in ANY material, you name it – we are your one stop shop to bring your prototype together.
About Us
Badger Prototyping is part of Creative Design Network, Inc, a full-service product development firm located in West Bend, WI. For the past 30 years, CDN has been playing a vital role in projects for a variety of industries. Our model shop has built up visual styling models, all the way to full-scale, fully functional industrial equipment. Outside of our prototype development services, we offer several other services including design, engineering, contract manufacturing, and low-volume manufacturing.
For many of our clients, we are their go to source for quick turnaround parts; design changes, 3D printing services, and much more, our clients know they can count on us for speed and efficiency, without sacrificing the quality of their products.

Additive Manufacturing Solutions
3D printing allows us to create parts faster than ever. We’ve recently added the capability of printing composite parts with carbon fiber or continuous glass fiber, while maintaining the strength and dependability of aluminum. With a layer resolution of 0.1mm, printing outer curves and contours in engineered nylon, filling each part with close pack fiber reinforcement, additive manufactured parts could be the perfect solution for your next project.
